Restorative Justice Training For Churches

Pilot Program Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in Accountable Faith’s pilot program!

This restorative justice training program is for Christian churches, organizations, or communities that are interested in restorative justice.

In this program, your team will receive a series of workshops and trainings delivered over approximately 2-6 sessions, depending on length and format. We will work with you to shape the content of the program based on your group’s size, needs, and existing knowledge and skills. Generally, participants will learn:

  1. Foundational restorative justice principles and practices

  2. How to design and implement restorative justice practices for capacity-building and harm prevention

  3. Strategies for responding to conflict and harm in religious contexts using restorative justice

This pilot program is free for groups participating virtually or that are local to (or willing to travel to) Boston or New York City. We also have a limited number of free and sliding scale spots available. Otherwise, for all other hybrid or in-person spots, we ask groups to help us cover the cost of travel.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the interest form below. Once we receive your information, we will be in touch within 2-3 business days to share more details about the program, learn more about your group’s needs and goals, and assess if our pilot program would be a good fit. From there, we will work with you to determine scheduling, format, and content.

Please note: This pilot program is not intended for communities that are currently dealing with clergy abuse of any kind. If you are looking for resources or referrals to help you navigate an active case using restorative justice, please contact us.
